Concrete Driveways in Kaysville

Your driveway takes more weight, more sun, and more winter than any slab on the property, so it's the wrong place to cut corners. We pour driveways for homes and businesses across Kaysville and Davis County, whether you're starting fresh, adding an RV pad, or tearing out one that's cracked through. Every pour gets real base prep, rebar tied for our soil, and control joints cut where they belong. Then we grade it to drain and finish it broom or decorative, whatever you want.

What's included

Driveways, done the right way.

  • New driveways, tear out and replacement, RV pads, garage aprons, and extra parking.
  • Base excavated, graded, and compacted so the slab bears on solid ground, not frost heaved fill.
  • Rebar sized and tied for our clay soil, poured thick enough for vehicles.
  • Control joints cut where they belong so the concrete cracks at the joint, not across your driveway.
  • Graded to drain snowmelt away from the house, then finished broom or decorative and sealed for winter.

Why prep matters in our winters

Kaysville sits on clay soil that swells with moisture and heaves when it freezes, and our winters run concrete through freeze and thaw cycles all season. A driveway poured on a lazy base rides that movement and cracks apart, and unsealed concrete scales and pits from the road salt and ice melt you track onto it. So we spend the time on the base, the rebar, and the joints, use air entrained concrete built for freeze and thaw, and seal the surface, so your driveway takes the weight and the weather and stays flat.

Common jobs

What people call us for

Most driveway calls we get land in one of these:

  • A new driveway on a new build or a bare dirt approach.
  • Tearing out and replacing a driveway that's cracked, heaved, or sinking.
  • An RV pad or extra parking slab poured to take the weight.
  • A garage apron or approach that ties into the street.
  • A wider or extended driveway for another car or a turnaround.

Good to know

Driveways questions, answered.

Should I repair my driveway or tear it out and repour?
It depends on what's going on underneath. Surface cracks and spalling can sometimes be patched, but once a slab is heaving, sinking, or cracked all the way through, the base has usually moved, and a tear out and replacement is the honest fix. We'll look at it and tell you straight.
Will a new driveway crack?
We won't tell you concrete never cracks, because that isn't true. What we do is control it, with a compacted base, rebar, and control joints cut at the right spacing, so the concrete cracks at the joint instead of out in the open.
Do you seal driveways for winter?
We do, and out here it's worth it. A good sealer helps the surface shrug off the road salt and ice melt that scale and pit unsealed concrete, and it slows the freeze and thaw damage. We'll finish and seal it and tell you when to reseal down the road.
Do you pour commercial driveways and parking too?
Yes. We pour for homes and businesses both, from a single residential driveway to approach aprons and extra parking for a commercial lot. Same crew and the same prep either way.
